A border guard used a firearm on Thursday, April 24 firing two warning shots to deter seven violators from illegally crossing the state border, according to a release from the State Border Guard.

The border guards immediately went to this group of people and gave an order in several languages: 'Stop! State Border Guard!' But the people did not react and started to move in their original direction. The people slowed and increasingly moved away instead of stopping, so the group issued two warning shots.

After the warning shot or after the last one being fired and the group had stopped, two more continued to run away in the direction from where they had come. After the second warning shot, three people also stopped; said the statement.
