On September 26, 2025, Denmark closed the airspace over Aalborg Airport twice due to suspicious drone sightings. Police detected something resembling a drone and conducted a search but found nothing, leading to flights resuming about an hour later. The day before, the same airport, located near a military base, was shut down overnight for similar reasons. These incidents suggest ongoing drone surveillance or intrusion attempts near a sensitive military site in Denmark.
