Two Russian Gerbera drones were found drifting near Romania's Neptun Deep gas project in the Black Sea inside Romania's Exclusive Economic Zone. The drones were discovered approximately 167 km offshore from Constanța by a vessel working in the area. Romanian military personnel identified the two UAVs in the water along with additional debris and destroyed them in a controlled detonation for safety reasons due to their proximity to an active maritime area and ongoing work around the gas project.
