As of August 23, 2024, Ukrainian drone pilots have begun training in Latvia under an agreement facilitated by the Latvian and Ukrainian defense ministries. Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds announced that Latvia will allocate an additional 20 million euros in 2025 to the Drone Coalition, which supports Ukraine’s drone capabilities. This cooperative effort includes the exchange of experience and knowledge to improve drone operations against Russian forces.
