Police in Slovakia thwarted a planned arson attack targeting a factory producing unmanned aerial systems (drones) in eastern Slovakia. Three foreigners suspected in the attempt were detained—two in Slovakia and one in Germany. Police seized a large amount of incendiary mixture, tools, mobile phones, a camera, and a handwritten plan. There was no damage or injuries as about 70 people were present at the facility during the planned attack. Suspects were charged with public endangerment on commission. The targeted factory and commissioning party were not named. Slovakia borders Ukraine and is a NATO and EU member.
