Belarusian propaganda claims Baltic states' military capabilities are weak and that capturing them would take days to a week, citing NATO as the only deterrent.
On March 27, 2024, Belarusian propaganda circulated claims that Baltic states have weak military capabilities and would be captured within a few days to a week. The rhetoric emphasized that NATO is the only factor preventing such an outcome and referenced the rapid Russian capture of Kyiv in three days as a parallel. This propaganda aims to undermine perceived Baltic military strength and possibly influence regional perceptions, leveraging historical comparisons and minimizing NATO's deterrence role.
Confidence: High
The event clearly involves hostile Belarusian (closely aligned with Russian) propaganda targeting Baltic states, aiming to undermine their military reputation. The broadcast is designed as an information warfare act, with no mention of defense preparations by Baltic or NATO forces in this source.
