Poland confirmed that the Ch-55 Russian cruise missile found in Zamość near Bydgoszcz fell in mid-December 2022 and was found at the end of April 2023, suggesting Russian missile stray-fire impacting Polish territory. The missile likely originated from a Russian rocket attack on Ukraine. The Polish government is expected to react adequately to this security threat.
