Russia could be behind cyber attacks on British businesses like M&S, Nato general warns

These attacks are part of a wider campaign linked to Russia targeting multiple countries in Europe. The breach at Marks & Spencer compromised 14% of its workforce personal data, exposing unencrypted IP addresses and personal details. The cyber attacks coincide with growing concerns over Russia’s aggressive behavior in Europe, including blocking NATO vessels and drone attacks on Baltic sea infrastructure. Admiral Philippe Maupin emphasized the growing threat level and the need for stronger defensive measures.
