Latvian border guards discovered a second underground tunnel used for illegal migrant crossings near Krāslava city. In the past 24 hours, 109 illegal migrants were prevented from entering Latvia. Among these, 28 illegal migrants were detected near Krāslava city, where the tunnel entrance was found approximately 20 meters from the state border, concealed beneath moss. The tunnel is believed to be used for moving migrants underground. Examination and photographic documentation of the tunnel are ongoing.
