Lithuania's State Security Department says Russia is conducting an information campaign targeting the Baltic states amid recent drone incidents, aiming to pressure them to reduce support for Ukraine.

Lithuania’s State Security Department director Remigijus Bridikis stated that Russia is waging an information campaign against Baltic states following drone incidents involving Ukrainian drones crossing into Baltic airspace. Russia accuses the Baltic states of allowing attacks on its territory, which the Baltic countries deny, blaming Russian electronic warfare for drone diversion. Bridikis said Russia's campaign combines information pressure and potential provocations, intensified rhetoric about Baltic and Kaliningrad security, and plans to bring accusations against Baltic states to the International Court of Justice as part of broader pressure to discourage Baltic support for Ukraine. He emphasized no current signs of imminent conventional military confrontation with NATO, but cautioned ongoing unconventional Russian actions. Russia is also testing how easily it can apply various pressures to achieve objectives.
